About the Tutor
Mr Tan
With an impressive 27 years of service under Ministry of Education (MOE), Mr Tan is a deeply experienced educator who has taught both primary and secondary school Mathematics.
Trained at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Mr Tan received rigorous professional training grounded in pedagogy, curriculum design, and educational psychology—laying a strong foundation for a long and impactful teaching career.
Throughout his tenure, Mr Tan has held pivotal roles such as Head of Department (Secondary) and Subject Head(Primary) for Mathematics and HOD for Information & Communication Technology(ICT- Secondary), where he led curriculum planning and mentored fellow teachers in delivering effective instruction. His extensive experience also includes being a PSLE marker, equipping him with a sharp understanding of assessment standards and examination techniques.
Under his guidance, many students have achieved significant improvements in performance, with a number attaining distinctions in PSLE and O level A and E Math examinations. Mr Tan’s balanced approach—blending academic rigor with emotional support—has made him not just an educator, but a trusted mentor to generations of students.

Who is the tutor?
Mr. Tan is MOE-trained with 27 years of teaching experience in both primary and secondary schools.

We offer flexible options:
- Online (via Zoom)
- In-person with small class size of 6-8. (at our tuition centre)
Do you offer 1-to-1 or group tuition?
We offer both. Students are able to pick the option that suits their learning more. Choose based on your preference:
- 1-to-1: Personalised attention, flexible pacing
- Group (2–6 students): Structured interaction, more affordable
What are the tuition fees?
Fees vary depending on the level, format (group or 1-to-1), Contact us directly for a full fee schedule.
Do you provide trial lessons?
We offer 4 trial lessons so students have enough time to get to know their instructor and see if the teaching style works for them. Building a good relationship with your teacher is key to a successful learning experience, and having a few lessons lets both sides figure out if it’s the right fit before committing.
Will there by homework and materials provided?
Yes. Students receive curated worksheets, past-year papers, and regular homework to reinforce concepts and improve exam readiness.
Can I reschedule or make up for missed lessons?
Yes, lessons can be rescheduled with at least 1 week advance notice, subject to availability.
